Second round of talks between the government and Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf will be held today to resolve the political impasse.

This was stated by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf leader Asad Umar in an interview with APP in Islamabad on Saturday.

He said both the sides have decided not to make the details of talks public.

Asad Umar said Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal and the Attorney General of Pakistan will represent the government side while PTI's team will be comprised himself and a senior party lawyer.

He said the Attorney General, who is abroad, would participate in the talks through Skype.Asad Umer said the dialogue process has been resumed from the point where it was halted in September.

He hoped that the talks would be constructive and result-oriented. To a question, Asad Umer said no time frame has been set for the duration of talks but the two sides are committed to an early solution of the political crisis.
