Chinese Vice-Premier Wang Yang along with a high powered delegation arrived in Islamabad on a two-day official visit to Pakistan.

According to the Foreign Office, Vice Premier Wang Yang is undertaking the visit on the directions of President Xi Jinping as a special gesture to participate in 70th Independence Anniversary celebrations of Pakistan.

During his visit, he will attend the flag-hoisting ceremony tomorrow as a special guest.

Wang Yang will call on President Mamnoon Hussain and Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi and will participate in the inaugural ceremony of China-Pakistan Economic Corridor projects, besides witnessing the signing of agreements between the two countries.
