Federal Cabinet approves Hajj Policy 2017

Addressing the meeting, the Prime Minister directed the Ministry of Religious Affairs to fully facilitate Hajj pilgrims. Nawaz Sharif also asked the ministry to review the Hajj expenditures and present them before the next cabinet meeting. Moreover, Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Muhammad Yousaf has said that Hajj application will be accepted from 17th to 26th of this month. Addressing a press briefing about the Hajj policy 2017 which is approved by the cabinet on Wednesday, he said that a total of 107526 intending pilgrims will be selected under government Hajj scheme while 71684 will be selected though private hajj scheme. The Minister said that balloting will be conducted on 28th of this month.

Pakistan has sufficient evidence against Kulbhushan Jadhav

Pakistan has sufficient evidence of espionage and sabotage activities in Balochistan and Karachi against Indian agent Kulbhushan Jadhav .  This was stated by High Commissioner to India Abdul Basit in an interview.  Abdul Basit said Pakistan has shared the evidence with Indian government as well. He said Kulbhushan has been given a fair trial and assured that he will be given the right to appeal or seek mercy.
