Minister for Interior Ijaz Shah has said a strict punitive action would be taken against the lawyers who rampaged the Punjab Institute of Cardiology in Lahore.    

Talking to a private news channel, he said some 35 to 40 lawyers involved in this tragic incident have been identified and cases have also been registered against them.      

Replying to a question, the Interior Minister said former President Asif Ali Zardari has been granted bail on medical grounds.
