Minister for Information Technology and Telecommunication Dr Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui has pledged to digitally transforming the country into a knowledge based economy.

Addressing a function in Islamabad, he said Pakistan possesses immense potential specially in the information communication technology sector.

The Minister said Pakistan's ICT sector has surpassed ten billion US Dollars mark with more than seventy-four million broadband users.
