In Afghanistan, at least twenty-eight militants including eighteen Taliban and ten Daesh rebels have been killed in NATO airstrikes in Jwand district of northwestern Badghis province.

The governor’s spokesman said raids targeted Taliban and Daesh hideouts in the Panjbuz locality of the district.

He said NATO forces also captured forty militants and their hideouts.
