Ahsan Iqbal said achievements of National Action Plan and Radd-ul-Fasaad are being consolidated to root out the menace of terrorism once and for all from the country. He said the youth of the nation will not be allowed to be exploited by our enemies.

Afghanistan's ambassador to Pakistan Dr.Omer Zakhilwal says Pakistan shouldn’t object on our ties with India. We assure that Afghanistan-India relationship will not inflict harm upon Pakistan. Dr Zakhilwal said both the sides will have to respect each other’s sovereignty and move ahead to narrow down their differences to build long lasting trust. He was addressing a round table discussion, titled “Bilateral Reconciliation: Opportunities and Challenges” in Islamabad on Tuesday.

President Mamnoon Hussain says China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will bolster national economy. Addressing Pakistani community at Astana on Tuesday, he said Pakistan will become the most important country of the region after completion of the mega project. He advised scientists to pay attention to agricultural research to enhance agriculture produce. He said load-shedding will end by first quarter of next year in the country. The President said Afghanistan issue can be solved through dialogue and not war. He said that Pakistan will continue to help Afghan brethren for stability in Afghanistan.
