Independence Cup: Pakistan beat World-XI by 20 runs in first T-20
In the first T-20 of three-match Independence Cup, Pakistan beat World-XI by 20 runs at Gaddafi stadium Lahore on Tuesday.
Bating first, Pakistan scored 197 runs for the loss of five wickets in stipulated 20 overs.
In reply, World-XI scored 177 runs for the loss of seven wickets in 20 overs.
For Pakistan , Babar Azam with 86 runs was the main scorer while Ahmed Shahzad and Shoaib Malik scored 39 and 38 runs respectively.
Sohail Khan,Rumman Raees and Shadab Khan took two wickets each.
Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shahbaz Sharif has extended heartiest congratulations to the winning Pakistan cricket team against World-XI.
He said that Pakistan team got victory by dint of its brilliant performance.
