Jan Achakzai (Leader, PML-N):
Today’s suicide attack in Mastung was attempted on the envoy of Deputy Chairman Senate Maulana Abdul Ghafoor Haideri. We strongly condemn this incident. India has been involved in terrorist activities in Pakistan as also admitted by apprehended Indian spy Kulbhushan Yadav and Ehsanullah Ehsan that India is involved in efforts to sabotage China Pakistan Economic Corridor project and destabilize Pakistan by all means.
Lt Gen (Retd) Naeem Khalid Lodhi (Defense Analyst):
As long there is no peace in Afghanistan and Kashmir issue is not resolved we could not expect peace in Pakistan and in the region as well. Pakistan has strong evidences of Indian involvement in terrorist activities in Pakistan and it is also admitted by Kulbhushan Yadav and Ehsanullah Ehsan. We are in state of war against terrorism that has been imposed on us. It seems that Afghan government is no more the representative of Afghan people as 45% area of Afghanistan is not under the control of Afghan government. We have no issues with the people of Afghanistan but we have issues with Afghan government.
Attique Kakar (Senior Analyst):
Almost 21 people have been killed and other 35 have been reportedly injured so far. The security forces have been fighting a crucial war against terrorism and Operation Radd-ul-Fasad is continuing throughout the country. We should have to play special attention on targeted operation in Mastung as this was not the first terror incident in Mastung.
