Investors' faith in Govt policies led to impetus in KSE: Dar
The Minister says corporate results are very encouraging despite initial hurdles and energy shortages during the last eight months.
Finance Minister Ishaq Dar has said the renewed faith of investors in economic policies and reforms introduced by the government has led to the impetus in the Karachi Stock Exchange.
He was chairing a meeting in Islamabad on Wednesday regarding listing of Treasury Bills on Lahore and Islamabad Stock Exchanges.
He said corporate results are very encouraging despite initial hurdles and energy shortages during the last eight months.
Chairmen Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan Tahir Mahmood gave a briefing on new initiatives and reforms introduced to ensure that there is no misuse by brokers and control of the clients on their deposit shares.
