Russia warns US of retaliation over Obama-era expulsions
The warning came from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov.
Moscow has warned to take retaliatory measures against the United States if it fails to solve the issue of expulsion of thirty five Russian diplomats and seizure of its two diplomatic compounds last year.
The warning came from Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov while addressing a press conference with EU diplomatic chief Federica Mogherini in Brussels.
The Russian facilities in New York and Maryland had been closed by Obama administration last year in response to purported cyber hacking attacks targeting US government, infrastructure, think tanks and political organizations.
