WFP distributes 3,054 metric tons of food among IDPs
Some 36,135 families comprising 451688 individuals have benefited from the WFP food distribution progamme.
The World Food Programme has so far distributed 3,054 metric tons of food among the Internally Displaced Persons of North Waziristan Agency.
Provincial Disaster Management Authority Khyber Pakhtunkhwa officials told Radio Pakistan that 36,135 families comprising 451688 individuals have benefited from the WFP food distribution progamme.
WFP has opened eight food distribution points. Five distribution points are functioning in Bannu and one each in Lakki Marwat, Dera Ismail Khan and Tank.
