1st phase of food distribution among IDPs completed: FDMA
The Deputy Director FDMA says for the second phase 33,559 IDPs have also been registered.
The FATA Disaster Management Authority (FDMA) has completed first phase of food distribution among Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs).
The Deputy Director FDMA Farman Khilji told Radio Pakistan correspondent Aftab Sherazi that the World Food Programme (WFP) has distributed dry ration among thirty six thousand families.
He said that kits of non-food items were also distributed among sixteen thousand four hundred twenty-five families.
He said for the second phase, thirty-three thousand five hundred fifty nine (33,559) IDPs have also been registered for food distribution.
