Finance Minister Ishaq Dar says after achieving economic stability, the government is striving for sustainable and inclusive growth.    

Addressing a function in Lahore on Sunday, he said that twenty-two international institutions have recognized improvement in Pakistan's economy.

The Minister said all-out efforts are underway to make the country financially strong.  He said the economy has improved during the last three and a half years due to prudent economic policies of the Government.

He pointed out that for the first time in history of the country, the government has successfully completed the IMF programme.

Ishaq Dar said Pakistan's stock market is currently the top stock market in Asia which is a proof of successful economic measures taken by the government during the last three years.

In his address, Governor Punjab Rafique Rajwana said the government is taking various measures for country's progress and welfare of people.

He said that the backbone of terrorists has been broken through implementation of National Action Plan in letter and spirit.
