Navies of thirty-seven countries are participating in the exercise. Nine of them, China, Japan, Australia, Indonesia, Turkey, Sri Lanka, UK, US and Russia, are taking part in the drills with their naval assets. Special Operations Forces of Pakistan Navy and participating countries are busy in presenting impressive Maritime Counter Terrorism exercises.

Indian troops martyr four youth in Occupied Kashmir--France calls to resolve Kashmir issue for regional peace and stability

In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their stepped-up state terrorism killed four youth in Kulgam district, today. Deputy Inspector General of Police talking to media confirmed that youth were killed in the crackdown operation launched jointly by Indian Army and paramilitary Central Reserve Police Force in Frisal area of the district.

Trump: Washington '100%' behind Tokyo after North Korea missile launch

North Korea test fired a ballistic missile in the direction of Sea of Japan early on Sunday. South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported that missile was launched from Banghyeon in North Pyongan Province. North Korea had said in recent weeks that it has a new intercontinental ballistic missile capable of reaching the US mainland.

German will elect its new President today

A German parliamentary assembly will elect the country's new president today. The new head of state will succeed 77 year old Joachim Gauck who announced last year that he wouldn't seek a second five-year term because of his age.

Syrian opposition names delegates for Geneva talks

Syrian opposition has nominated Mohammed Sabra as their lead negotiator for the upcoming peace talks in Geneva. Nassir al Hariri has been named as the lead delegate from the Syrian opposition side.

ISIS executes 5 Egyptians ‘for aiding army’

ISIS in Egypt claims to have executed five men it accused of working for the army, which is battling the militants in the Sinai Peninsula. Militants have killed hundreds of soldiers and policemen since the military overthrow of Islamist president Mohamed Mursi in 2013 unleashed a bloody crackdown on his supporters.

7 dead after strong quake jolts southern Philippines

In Philippines, seven people have been killed and one hundred and twenty injured when strong earthquake with a magnitude of 6.5 struck the island of Mindanao in southern parts of the country. The 6.7 earthquake occurred at a depth of 10 km and the epicenter was about 13 km east of the city of Surigao, the U.S. Geological Survey reported.

Panama law firm Mossack Fonseca founders arrested

The two founders of Panamanian law firm Mossack Fonseca have been arrested. Panama's Attorney General Kenia Porcell told reporters that information collected so far allegedly identifies the Panamanian firm as a criminal organization that is dedicated to hiding assets or money from suspicious origins.
