EU being lauded for connecting human rights with trade talks to India

The Chairman of Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU), Ali Raza Syed has lauded the European Union (EU)’s stance for connecting the upcoming Union free trade dialogue with human rights’ situation in India. It is important to mention that a head of high-level European Union’s delegation on upcoming session of EU-India later this year says, human rights will be part of next EU-India summit.

APHC thanks IOK people for following protest programme

In occupied Kashmir, the All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) has thanked people of Kashmir for making the three-day protest programme given by joint resistance leadership a success. An APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar reiterated the demand for return of mortal remains of Muhammad Maqbool Butt and Mohammad Afzal Guru to Kashmir.

Sister pays tributes to Maqbool Butt

In occupied Kashmir, on the 33rd martyrdom anniversary of prominent Kashmiri leader Mohammad Maqbool Butt, his family said the Kashmiris will continue to follow his footprints on the way to struggle for freedom from Indian bondage. Maqbool Butt’s sister in a statement said, “The path shown by my brother won’t stop. We (Kashmiris) will continue to follow his footprints until the freedom is achieved.”

5 youth including civilian, 2 Indian troops killed in IOK

In occupied Kashmir, Indian troops in their stepped-up state terrorism killed five Kashmiri youth including a civilian in Kulgam district, early in the morning today. Indian media reported that two troops were also killed in clashes, which took place after forces cordoned off Nowpora area of Frisal in the district.
