PML-N government is committed to restore peace in Karachi- Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi
Talking to media in Karachi tonight, he said a detailed meeting was held today with all the stakeholders for sustainable peace in Karachi and the province. He said it has been decided that Rangers will continue to work in Karachi. Shahid Khaqan Abbassi said that during a meeting, the business community has also expressed satisfaction over the improved law and order situation in the province. The Prime Minister said a number of development projects worth twenty-five billion rupees will be completed in Karachi to boost the economic development. He said these projects include roads infrastructure development, new water supply scheme, setting up Medical College and Hospital in Karachi University and expansion of green line bus service. He said these projects will be completed under the supervision of Governor Sindh in consultation with the provincial government. He said that the federal government has released allocated funds for K-IV project and it is the responsibility of the provincial government to complete the project in stipulated period. The Prime Minister said that projects worth five billion rupees will also be completed in Hyderabad as announced by Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
