Government committed to ensure timely completion of all ongoing development projects- PM informed that first unit of 969 MW Neelum-Jhelum Hydropower Project to be ready by February next year

Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi directs the Ministry of Water Resources to focus on all the ongoing development projects and ensure their timely completion. Presiding over a meeting to discuss the affairs of WAPDA in Islamabad, he says the new Ministry of Water resources had been constituted for better resolution of the issues.

The current Prime Minister has firm resolve to overcome the issue of power shortage. He has said that all the ongoing projects will be completed timely. There are so many power projects under way including Neelum-Jhelum which will produce 969MW.

Azadi train will begin its countrywide journey from Islamabad today

Azadi train will begin its countrywide journey from Margalla Station, Islamabad on Saturday at 12:30pm. According to the schedule by Railways Ministry, the train will reach Peshawar Cantt at 4:30 in the evening.
