Preparations in full swing to celebrate 70th Independence Anniversary; Azadi Train leaves Islamabad for countrywide journey

Preparations are in full swing across the country to celebrate the 70th independence anniversary in a befitting manner.
Special Azadi train has started its countrywide journey from Islamabad as part of 70th Independence anniversary celebrations.
Minister of State for Information Marriyum Aurangzeb inaugurated the special train at Margalla Railway Station in Islamabad on Saturday.
In her address on the occasion, Marriyum Aurangzeb said the train portraying the historical and cultural ethos of Pakistan is a reflection of the dreams and aspirations of the people of Pakistan.
The Minister of state said stable and peaceful Pakistan we live in today is a translation of Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah`s vision.
The train consists of five galleries and six floats.
The train will stay at every station to provide an opportunity to the people of those areas to see the beautiful cultural and historical models displayed in the five galleries and six floats of the train.
