Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Information and Broadcasting, Dr. Firdous Ashiq Awan has reiterated that each plundered penny will be recovered from the corrupt elements.

In a tweet on Thursday, she said massive irregularities are coming to the fore in the import of LNG from Qatar during PML (N) government.

She said the audit report of 2015-16 negates the claims of former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi regarding the LNG import. 

The Special Assistant said the former prime minister will have to answer to the irregularities of 108 billion rupees and four billion rupees of additional amount received from the consumers.

Firdous Ashiq Awan said people are compelled to purchase expensive gas today due to the acts of the former Prime Minister.

She said those blowing the trumpet of political victimization and declaring themselves innocent were involved in corrupt practices.
