In Afghanistan, thousands of people are protesting in Kabul demanding the government to ensure security of districts in southern Ghazni and central Uruzgan provinces.   

The protesters called on the government to purge Khas Uruzgan, Jaghori and Malistan districts from Taliban presence and dispatch emergency assistance to displaced families.

Taliban’s attacks in these districts since past 15 days had led dozens of people killed and forced many families to leave their homes.
