Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Food Security Jamshed Iqbal Cheema says government will provide sugar to the people at 80 rupees per kg.

In a statement on Tuesday, he said we will also provide relief to the people in the prices of ghee and pulses.

The Special Assistant said there have been good crops of cotton and sugarcane this year. He said the farmers will also get good price of their produce.

The Special Assistant said that subsidy has been given to farmers on seed, fertilizer and pesticides.
