Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi says India's false claim of normalcy in occupied Kashmir has been exposed at international level, including at the forums of the UN Security Council and UN Human Rights Council.
Talking to Radio Pakistan's News and Current Affairs Channel today, he said India is trying to mislead the world claiming that normalcy has returned to occupied Kashmir, but the voice being raised for Kashmiris at various international fora has proved it a total lie.
He said the minorities and secular segment of the society in India have rejected the RSS and Hindutva mindset.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said the world has taken notice that Kashmiris were not provided religious right of observing Youm-e-Ashur.
He said there is shortage of food and medicines due to continuous curfew in occupied Kashmir, and the world is demanding for lifting the curfew.
Acknowledging significance of Radio Pakistan in communications blackout in occupied Kashmir, the Foreign Minister said Radio Pakistan is the only source of information for the Kashmiris, who do not have access to internet and mobile phone.
Shah Mahmood Qureshi said he would like to assure the Kashmiris using the platform of Radio Pakistan that they are not alone and Pakistan is standing by them.
