Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that fast-paced progress of backward areas is among Government's top priorities.
He was chairing a special meeting in Lahore on Wednesday, to review the development schemes of province especially of DG Khan.
He said that under Prime Minister's vision, we will ensure provision of basic facilities of life in backward areas.
Meanwhile, newly appointed Inspector General of Punjab Police, Muhammad Tahir called on Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar in Lahore on Wednesday.
Speaking on occasion, Sardar Usman Buzdar said Punjab Police will be made completely impartial as people have attached great expectations with the institution.
He said that a change should be seen in Police force now which may serve people in a true sense.
On this occasion, new Punjab IG assured the Chief Minister said that all possible measures will be taken for improvement of Police system.
