Millions of Muslims from across the world who had gathered in Mina for Hajj rituals yesterday will move to Arafat today. Hujjaj will offer Zohar and Asar prayers together and listen to "Hajj Khutba" at Masjid Nimra. They will stay in Arafat till sunset spending the day in prayers. Waqoof-e-Arafat on 9th of Zil Hajjah is the main ritual of Hajj. A large number of Pakistani pilgrims are performing Hajj this year. Saudi Government has made elaborate arrangements like provision of cold drinking water and establishment of a large number of toilets and ablution centres for the pilgrims. 

"The 68th death anniversary of Father of Nation, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah is being observed with due solemnity and reverence today" 

Different organisations and educational institutions have planned special seminars and ceremonies to pay rich tribute to the Quaid for rendering valuable services for the Muslims of the sub-continent. On this occasion, People from various walks of life would visit the mausoleum of the great Quaid to pay tributes and offer Fateha. Newspapers would public supplements and radio and television channels would air special programmes to shed light on the life and achievements of the Father of the Nation.

"PM Orders Allocation of Land For Construction of 46 News Hospitals"

Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has directed all the provincial governments to allocate land for the construction of forty-six hospitals. On the directions of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the federal government has written letters to the Chief Secretaries of the four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad Capital Territory Administration in this regard.
These 46 hospitals will be fully funded by Federal government with state of the art facilities and will be designed by international consultants. The selection of districts for the proposed hospitals across the country has been made keeping in view the Poverty Index and availability of health infrastructure in across the Provinces.

"Combing operation to flush out terrorists-At least eight militants killed in Gayandari area at Punjab- Balochistan border- ISPR"

The security forces have killed eight terrorists during a combing operation at Gayandari on the border of Balochistan and Punjab on Saturday. According to ISPR, one security forces personnel embraced martyrdom during the operation. A number of terrorists and feraries along with cache of arms and ammunition have been apprehended. Numerous absconders were also apprehended from district Rajanpur's Gayandari area. Security forces also recovered a large cache of arms and ammunition during the combing operation. Gayandari is located on the border of Balochistan and Punjab.

"Kashmir unrest: Two more protesters killed in clashes"

In occupied Kashmir, two more youth were martyred and hundreds others injured due to brutal actions of Indian forces on protesters in different areas of the Kashmir Valley, taking the death toll in the ongoing Kashmir Intifada to 95.Thousands of people took to the streets in Srinagar, Badgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, Baramulla, Handwara, Sopore, Bandipora, Islamabad, Qazigund and other areas and held forceful demonstrations against the civilian killings in the Valley. They shouted high-pitched pro-freedom, pro-Pakistan and anti-India slogans. A youth, Sayar Ahmad Sheikh, was killed after he was hit in the head by a teargas shell fired by the forces’ personnel in Tukroo area of Shopian. Another youth identified as Yawar Ahmad was killed after Indian troops pumped pellets into his chest at Batengoo in Islamabad district.
