Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has directed to complete construction of Swat Motorway next year.

Presiding over a meeting in Peshawar, he said the motorway will usher in a new era of development and prosperity in Malakand and Mardan Divisions.

Three committees have been constituted to monitor and expedite work on the eighty-one km long Swat Motorway to be completed at a cost of thirty-five billion rupees.

It will connect Karnal Sher Khan Interchange on Islamabad-Peshawar Motorway with Chakdara, Lower Dir.
