The return of Temporarily Displaced Persons of FATA is in progress and so far more than two hundred thirty-two thousand families have been rehabilitated to their native areas.

According to the latest report issued by FATA Disaster Management Authority, over one hundred twelve thousand TDP families have been resettled in Khyber Agency, more than forty-six thousand in North Waziristan, over forty-five thousand in South Waziristan, more than seventeen thousand in Kurram and over twelve thousand in Orakzai Agency.

Nearly one million children of TDPs have also been administered anti-polio drops at their return.

Each returning family is being provided financial assistance of thirty-five thousand rupees for transportation and routine household expenditures.
