Govt to establish Export Processing Zones in various cities of Sindh
Solar pumps are being provided to farmers on fifty percent subsidy under the plan
In Sindh, over thirty schemes are being carried out to increase per acre crop production and boost agriculture sector in the province.
Our Karachi correspondent Altaf Pirzado reports that these schemes will be completed at a cost of five billion rupees.
Under the plan, solar pumps are being provided to farmers on fifty percent subsidy, whereas training and research facilities are also being modernized.
The plan also include establishment of Export Processing Zones in Karachi, Hyderabad, Badin, Mirpurkhas, Shaheed Benazirabad, Naushero Feroz, Khairpur and Ghotki to facilitate the farmers and growers.
