Pakistan to soon become center of massive trade activities: Sartaj
In an interview, the Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz says Pakistan will soon be at the center stage of massive trade activities after attaining full membership of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. Pakistan enjoys multi-dimensional ties with SCO countries, and after becoming its full member, the opportunities in multilateral cooperation, land and connectivity and trade activities will get a spur.

It is a good development that Pakistan has become a full and permanent member of Shanghai Cooperation Organization. The charter of this organization is to improve regional connectivity, economic development, controlling drug trafficking, lawlessness and terrorism. India always wanted to isolate Pakistan in the world but so for remained failed in its mission. China and Russia being the prominent members of this organization could play a vital role to resolve all outstanding issues between Pakistan and India through dialogue. Prime Minister during his visit held meeting with Heads of States of the member countries.
Pakistan rejects reports regarding troops deployment in Qatar
Pakistan rejected as “fabricated and baseless” reports that it plans to deploy its troops in Qatar amid diplomatic tensions in the Middle East. In a statement, Foreign Office spokesman Nafees Zakaria rejected reports appearing in some foreign media regarding deployment of Pakistani troops in Qatar. He said these were “completely fabricated and baseless”.
