The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has allocated about one hundred and twenty eight billion rupees for promotion of education in the province.

Official sources told our Radio Pakistan Peshawar correspondent that the amount will be spent on seventy-seven projects consisting sixty on-going and seventeen new projects in education sector.

These projects include construction of four hundred and ten primary schools; ten post graduate colleges, recruitment of fourteen thousand teachers, construction of boundary walls, repair of public libraries and provision of security & missing facilities in educational institutions.

The sources added that one hundred each primary, middle and high schools will be upgraded in the province.
