Dr. Zafar Nawaz Jaspal (IR Expert)

Pakistan needs to deal with the prevailing situation among the Gulf countries carefully. Pakistan has strong bilateral relations with Qatar, Bahrain, Iran and other Muslim Gulf countries. The news related to allegations on Pakistan for deploying troops in Qatar is baseless. The government should condemn such rumors and properly investigate the origin and source of this news. Pakistan will not do any act that could affect its relations with Gulf countries.

Dr. Pervaiz Iqbal Cheema (IR Expert)

Our foreign Office spokesperson has strongly denied the reports that Pakistan has deployed its troops in Qatar. If Pakistan has to deploy its troops to any other countries, the permission from the Parliament in this regard is mandatory. Such rumors seem to be part of conspiracies to affect the strong brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi coalition. I am sure that India will be involved in such propaganda against Pakistan.
