15 development programs underway to upgrade irrigation system
Over Rs 12 bln to be spent on rehabilitation of barrages, improvement of irrigation and drainage networks.
Sindh government is executing fifteen development programs costing over one hundred billion rupees to upgrade the existing irrigation system in the province.
Our Karachi correspondent reports that over twelve billion rupees will be spent on rehabilitation of barrages and improvement of irrigation and drainage networks across the province during current financial year.
Lining of Rohri and amrao canals is also part of this project.
