Sindh Governor passes away
President and Prime Minister voice deep grief and sorrow over sad demise of Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui.
Governor Sindh Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui passes away in Karachi at the age of 78.
He was 31st Governor of Sindh, who took charge of his office on 11 November 2016.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui.
He said Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui's services will be remembered for the supremacy of the law and the Constitution. He said Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui had never compromised over principles and always confronted non-democratic characters.
President Mamnoon Hussain has also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the death of Saeeduzzaman Siddiqi.
In a statement, he prayed eternal peace for the departed soul and commiserated with the bereaved family.
Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani, Leader of the House in Senate Raja Zafar-ul-Haq, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, Deputy Speaker Murtaza Javed Abbasi, Interior Minister Ch Nisar Ali Khan, Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting Marriyum Aurangzeb, and Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting Mohsin Shahnawaz Ranjha have also expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed deep grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Governor Sindh Saeed-uz-Zaman Siddique.
In a condolence message, he prayed for eternal peace of the departed soul and shared grief of bereaved family.
Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has expressed grief over the sad demise.
He said his services in field of Judiciary will be remembered for ever.
Chairman Pakistan People's Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and Speaker Sindh Assembly Agha Siraj Durrani have also expressed deep sorrow over the sad demise.
Chief Justice of Pakistan and all Judges of Supreme Court have expressed deep sorrow and grief over the sad demise of former Chief Justice of Pakistan and Governor Sindh Justice Saeeduzzaman Siddiqui (Retired).
They have extended their heartfelt condolences and sincere sympathies to members of the bereaved family of the departed soul.
Meanwhile, a formal condolence meeting of Chief Justice and Judges was also held in Supreme Court to condole the demise and offered “Fateha” for the departed soul.
They prayed to Almighty Allah to shower His blessings upon the departed soul and to give patience to the bereaved family members to bear this irreparable loss with equanimity.
