Army Chief vows to restore peace, rule of law
General Qamar Javed Bajwa says no threat can deter resolve of nation which is united, resilient and honour its heroes.
Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa and his wife visited family of Major Ali Salman in Lahore, who embraced martyrdom during an intelligence based operation in Dir on Wednesday.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the army chief acknowledged supreme sacrifice of Major Ali Salman and said that he has made the country proud.
He said peace and rule of law will be restored at the cost of any sacrifice.
The Army Chief said no threat can deter resolve of a nation which is united, resilient and honour its heroes.
Later, General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited family of Brigadier Muhammad Hasnain, who lost his life enroute to operational area in South Waziristan in a road accident.
