In Occupied Kashmir, complete shutdown is being observed on Tuesday in the areas where polling for so-called Panchayat elections is being held.

Call for the shutdown has been given by Joint Resistance Leadership, comprising Syed Ali Gilani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik.

The leadership has urged people to completely boycott the polling process.
