A group show called ‘Pargat’ on Baba Guru Nanak’s 550th birthday was organized by University of the Punjab and Lahore Arts Council at Alhamra Art Gallery in Lahore on Monday.
The event was inaugurated by the Governor of Punjab Ch. Muhammad Sarwar. On the occasion, the governor greatly appreciated the work of young artists.
A group of Sikh delegates, faculty members, students and a good number of art enthusiasts came to see the show.
The art exhibition features the work of 35 young artists in which students expressed their ideas to celebrate religious, social and cultural significance of Sikh community through 35 art works and a group performance.
