Punjab Minister for Information and Culture Fayaz ul Hasan Chohan says we are proud of our culture and under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan Pakistan's diversified culture would be promoted across the globe.

He was addressing the closing ceremony of Annual Lok Mela at Loke Virsa in Islamabad on Sunday.

Fayaz ul Hasan Chohan said government is committed to promote cultural values and work of our artisans at national and international level besides providing them adequate opportunities to showcase their products and demonstrate professional competence.

He said that Punjab Idols would be started in the Province for talent hunt and providing platform to youngsters.

He said health cards would be issued to artists in the Province for their medical treatment up to four hundred thousand rupees  in case of serious illness. The Punjab Minister also said that cultural events would be organized at all Arts Council in the Province.

Fayaz ul Hasan Chohan awarded cash prizes on excellent performances and he also visited stalls and admired the work and skills of artists.
