In Afghanistan, at least 19 people were killed and 57 others  wounded in an explosion in Mohmand Dara district near Jalalabad-Torkham Highway this afternoon.

Nangarhar governor’s spokesman says the explosion happened near a protest in Mohmand Dara district in the province.

No one has so far claimed responsibility for the attack.
