In South Africa, five people were killed during a shooting at a church near Johannesburg today (Saturday) while roughly 200 people were taken as hostage.

According to a Police statement on Twitter that thirty arrests were made and hostage negotiators were still at the scene.

Police did not say why or how many hostages had been taken.
