Inter-faith harmony, peace and prosperity of Pakistan is an utmost priority of every Pakistani citizen.
This resolved was expressed during a meeting of 35 religious representatives, including Christian, Sikh and Hindu members led by Imam of Badshahi Mosque of Lahore Maulana Saeed Abdul Khabir Azad, with Interior Minister Brig. (R) Ijaz Ahmad Shah in Islamabad today.
The religious leaders showed full support to government and express resolve to remain united regardless of religious and ethnic differences. They said the foreign elements trying to divide us under religious labels can never succeed in their motive.
The meeting concluded with a promise that we will all stay firm and united to sail through this tough economic phase and strengthen the country as a whole.
