Sanjrani directs MOFA to brief Senate on US restriction on Pak diplomats movement

Chairman Senate Sadiq Shanjrani has directed Ministry of Foreign Affairs to brief the House on restriction imposed by the United State on the movements of Pakistani diplomats in Washington.

He issued the directives during session of the Upper House in Islamabad today.

Opposition leader in the Upper House, Sherry Rehman has expressed concerns on reports regarding restrictions on Pakistani diplomats’ movement in the United States.

Speaking on a point of order, she said Pakistan has no enmity with anyone and it has the right to have its own stance and give reaction to any occurrence at the international level. Sherry Rehman said Pakistan has never accepted Coalition Support Fund as aid, but it is a compensation and reimbursement for using our infrastructure.

The Senate today unanimously passed thirteen bills.
