On the directions of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, the federal government has written letters to the Chief Secretaries of the four provinces, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad Capital Territory Administration in this regard.These 46 hospitals will be fully funded by Federal government with state of the art facilities and will be designed by international consultants.The proposed sites in Punjab for 500 bedded hospitals are Rajanpur, Jhang, Bhakkar, Sadiqabad and Rawalpindi while 250 bedded hospitals will be constructed in Burewala, Ahmedpur East, Kot Addu, Taunsa, Sahiwal ,Sargodha, Pasroor and Layyah.In Sindh, 500 bedded hospitals will be constructed in Jacobabad, Mirpur Khas and Badin while 250 bedded hospitals will be established in Islam Kot, Nausharo Feroze and Meher districts.In Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, land will be allocated for 500 bedded hospitals in Haripur and Charsadda; land for 250 bedded hospitals in Batgram, Hangu, FATA and Chitral, while 100 beds hospitals will be constructed in Garhi Habibullah and Kaghan.In Balochistan, 100 beds hospitals will be constructed in Hub, Noshki, Chaman and Punjgur. 250 beds hospitals in Khuzdar, Loralai and Sibi while land for 500 bedded hospital will be allocated in Quetta.In Gilgit-Baltistan, 250 beds hospitals will be constructed in Skardu and Gilgit; 100 bedded hospital in Karimabad Hunza while 50 beds hospital will be constructed at Ghanche.A 250 beds hospital will be constructed in Muzaffarabad, 100 beds hospitals in Rawlakot, Kotli and Athmuqam while land will be allocated for 50 beds hospital at Leepa in AJK.Land will also be allocated for three hospitals in the Federal Capital.After completion, these hospitals will be run on best management model having minimum control of the government with best service delivery. The selection of districts for the proposed hospitals across the country has been made keeping in view the Poverty Index and availability of health infrastructure in across the Provinces. Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif has directed to complete these 46 hospitals before the end of tenure of the present government to realize his dream of the social corridor across the length and breadth of the country. This corridor will translate into reality Prime Minister's vision of establishing a tertiary care health network in the four Provinces, AJK and Gilgit Baltistan.

Topic 02: Security forces have killed four terrorists on the border of Balochistan and Punjab

The security forces have accelerated combing operations in different parts of the country to rid the country of terrorists. According to official sources, the security forces are raiding different areas including Karachi, Quetta and tribal areas and have arrested scores of terrorists and their facilitators over the past few days. During the operations, a huge cache of arms and ammunitions has also been recovered In Balochistan, the security forces killed three terrorists in a combing operation in mountainous area of Hub district on Monday. Arms and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorist. In the continuing operation, six facilitators of terrorists were arrested in Thall area of Hangu on Monday. The official sources said that the security forces are fully aware of threat posed by the hostile foreign agencies and operation has been intensified to break their network especially in Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Karachi.

After Quetta Attack Army Chief directed to Intensify Combing, Targeted Operations

Army Chief General Raheel Sharif hds directed the Commanders and intelligence agencies to intensify the combing, and targeted operations with full vigour to eliminate terrorists and sleeper cells. Chairing Corps Commanders conference in Rawalpindi on 9 August, he said that cowardly terror attack on Pakistan’s judiciary in Quetta is an attempt to undermine the successes of operation Zarb-e-Azb.Raheel Sharif said Pakistan brave armed forces would not allow anyone to reverse our gains against terrorism.He also directed commanders to provide all necessary assistance to provincial law enforcement agencies in their capacity building through training, resourcing and planning so as to integrate them effectively in counter terrorism operations.

Govt taking steps for return of all TDPs to their homes: Abdul Qadir Baloch

he said Rs100 billion had been allocated for TDPs and out of this Rs30 billion were spent on their development projects, including electricity, water supply and rehabilitation in North Waziristan Agency. The minister said there was a massive decrease in terrorism activities in the country due to the Operation Zarb-e-Azb.The main aim of the operation was to restore peace and then early return of TDPs to their homes.

100,000 TDPs of South Waziristan return to native areas: Political Agent

According to political administration, the return process of TDPs of South Waziristan Agency, which was started on July 20, would continue till October 15, 2016.On the first day, the caravan of 373 TDPs families in 142 vehicles was seen off by Political Agent South Waziristan Agency Zafar Islam Khattak and Pak Army Colonel Imran from TDP camp Khargi.The Political Agent and Col Imran presented garlands to TDPs families and congratulated them upon their return to their respective native areas in South Waziristan.

Topic 03: In occupied Kashmir, Indian forces in their unabated state terrorism martyred two more youth today.

In occupied Kashmir, two more youth were martyred and scores of others injured in unabated stae terrorism by Indian forces in different areas of the Kashmir Valley today.According to Kashmir Media Service, thousands of people took to streets in Srinagar, Badgam, Shopian, Pulwama, Kulgam, Baramulla, Handwara, Sopore, Bandipora, Shantung-Islamabad, Qazigund and other areas and staged forceful demonstrations against the killing spree unleashed by Indian forces in the Valley. With these martyrdoms, the death toll in the ongoing Kashmir Intifada has risen to ninety five. Meanwhile, the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation has invited the Chairman of Hurriyet Forum, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq to attend the meeting of its Contact Group on Jammu and Kashmir to be held in New York later this month.


Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan has said that NADRA will be purged of those who sold the nationality of Pakistan and no hurdle will be tolerated in this regard. He said that civil society and the media played a commendable role in this national service.  He said that about 1700 people returned their fake identity cards under the legal pressure for the first time in the country's history.
