Wasim, Rameez meet Sethi
They discussed matters related to promotion of cricket in the country.
Former Captains of Pakistan cricket team Wasim Akram and Rameez Raja met with the Chairman of Executive Committee of Pakistan Cricket Board, Najam Sethi in Lahore on Thursday.
During the meeting, they discussed matters related to promotion of game of cricket in the country, especially the upcoming Pakistan Super League.
Later, talking to newsmen, Najam Sethi said that both great players have accepted the PCB offer of being Ambassadors of Pakistan Super League, which will prove very helpful for the game of cricket.
He said Wasim Akram, who recently supervised a PCB camp for upcoming Pakistani pacers, and Rameez Raja will bring their experience of working in the popular Indian Premier League to the table as efforts to get the PSL up and running by February next year.
Speaking on the occasion, Wasim Akram and Rameez Raja termed the Ambassadorship of PSL as an honor for them. They said that they will try their best to promote the league as much they can in best interest of country.
