Govt attaches priority to health sector: Yaqoob
AJK President says concerned authorities have been directed to ensure the timely completion of all development projects.
AJK President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has said that government is committed to utilize all the resources for the provision of basic amenities of life to the masses living in rural and far-flung areas of the state.
He was talking to a delegation from Banjosa Rawalakot that called on him in Kashmir House Islamabad today.
Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan said special attention is being given to communication, health sectors and provision of drinking water in these areas.
He said the concerned authorities have been directed to ensure the timely completion of all developmental projects being carried out in the rural areas of Azad Kashmir.
Meanwhile addressing a function of International NGO’s in Islamabad today he urged them to utilize their services for suffering humanity and help the needy people to stand on their feet.
He said NGOs should launch their schemes in consultation with government departments and elected representatives which would be more beneficial for the people of the areas.
