GB Chief Minister allures foreign investment in tourism
Mehdi Shah says Gilgit-Baltistan Government will provide incentives and security to investors.
Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah has invited foreign investors to invest in tourism‚ energy and mineral sectors in Gilgit-Baltistan.
Addressing a gathering in Berlin‚ he said the Provincial Government will provide incentives to investors and ensure their security.
He said Gilgit-Baltistan has water deposits where thousands of megawatt cheap hydro power could be generated.
Syed Mehdi Shah said the Government has arrested those involved in the killing of foreign tourists at Nanga Parbat and made adequate security arrangements to avoid such events in future.
He negated propaganda of some elements saying that climbing at Nanga Parbat is continuing and check posts have been set up for security of the tourists.
