Chief Minister Gilgit-Baltistan Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman has said that the government has taken concrete steps to ensure due healthcare facilities to people at hospital.

He was speaking at a briefing by the health and local government department today.

He said the government has addressed the issue of shortage of doctors and medicines at the hospitals.

He said steps have also been taken to enhance the working and management of the welfare committees. 

The Chief Minister directed the concerned quarters to install CCTVs cameras in DHQ Hospital Gilgit, Skardu Hospital and Shaheed Saifur Rehman Hospitals besides making the chit system computerized to avoid any hardship to the patients during the visit to the hospitals.
