NA continues debate on budget

The National Assembly resumed on Friday general discussion on budgetary proposals for the fiscal year 2016-17.

In his speech, Jamaluddin congratulated the Government for presenting 4th budget despite difficult circumstances.
Abdul Wasim said twenty percent pay raise should be given to government employees and minimum wage of worker should be fixed at twenty thousand rupees per month.
Makhdoom Syed Mustafa Mahmood said Government is running day to day affairs in better manner but there is no long-term vision witnessed in the budget .
He stressed for better prices to farmers for their produce.
Taking part in the debate, Asiya Naz Tanoli said the PML-N Government under the leadership of Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has always made efforts to give better future to the country.
Dr Fauzia Hameed emphasized for setting up of industries and creation of job opportunities.
Zahra Wadood Fatemi described the budget as pro-poor.
