The United States says sanctions against Russia will remain in place until Moscow reverses its actions in Ukraine.
This was stated by US Secretary of State Rex Tillerson while speaking at a joint news briefing with Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko in Kiev.
Tillerson said it is necessary for Russia to take the first step to de-escalate the situation in eastern part of Ukraine.
He called on Russia to honour its commitments to halt the conflict between Ukrainian government forces and the rebels.
