UN should take notice of human rights violations in IOK: Pervaiz
Says India could not suppress the freedom voice of Kashmiris by committing such unprecedented atrocities against unarmed people.
Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid says Pakistan will continue to raise voice against Indian atrocities in Occupied Kashmir.
He was talking to media along with special assistant to Prime Minister on political affairs Asif Kirmani after enquiring after the health of Azad Kashmir PML-N candidate at PIMS in Islamabad on Sunday.
Referring to brutal activities by Indian forces yesterday in Occupied Kashmir, he said United Nations and international Human Rights Organizations should take notice of these human rights violations.
Pervaiz Rashid said India could not suppress the freedom voice of Kashmiris by committing such unprecedented atrocities against unarmed people.
He said Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has also condemned the brutal incidents in held Kashmir.
The Information Minister said Chief Election Commissioner of Azad Kashmir should play his due role in providing peaceful environment for upcoming elections in Azad Kashmir.
He asked the Chief Election Commissioner Azad Kashmir to take measure to ensure free and fair elections in Azad Kashmir.
He said Prime Minister has appealed to the nation to observe Yaum-e-Dua today.
