Ch.Asad-ur-Rehman (PML-N, MNA):

“Now the country could not afford the sit- ins because we are on fast track of development and growth. Prime minister always showed his commitment to solve the problems of masses. Opposition is working on the agenda of negativity and wants to create barriers in progress of the country. People have rejected their politics in by-elections and PML-N won almost all seats. Opposition leadership has no concern with issues which our country is facing this time. Thinking of opposition is negative and people know their character and nature. They will not succeed in their designs and conspiracies. All know that sit-ins politics failed and they waste their time last year and once again people will reject their aims and goals.

Dr. Rashid Ahmad (Pak- Afghan Expert NDU):

“There is no doubt that Pakistan made all out sincere efforts for closer cooperation between Afghanistan and Pakistan rather than constant blame game by the Afghan government based on inaccurate assumptions. Remarks of Afghan President Ashraf Ghani at the NATO Summit are disappointing. The society which is divided from inside and have various differences among the people, their leaders always put blame on someone else for their weaknesses to turn the attention of the people from the real issues. Afghan government is itself very weak and has no courage and ability to fight with Taliban and other terrorists which have safe heavens inside Afghanistan. A large number of terrorists are living in Afghanistan and are using the Afghan soil for terrorism activities inside Pakistan. Afghanistan should take the action against them which are creating law and order situation in the region. International Community fully understands that Afghan government is not capable and baselessly blaming Pakistan.

Mirwaiz Umer Farooq (Hurriyat leader):

“Situation in Occupied Kashmir is very strained and Indian security forces have opened fire on peaceful protestors which is state terrorism. International community should take the notice of current critical situation which emerged in Occupied Kashmir after martyrdom of Hizb-ul-Mujahideen commander, Burhan Muzaffar Wani. There is no denying that people feel a sense of desperation. People feel the government of India is just not ready to acknowledge the sentiments in Kashmir. The PDP-BJP coalition has added a huge dimension to the problem. People feel India systematically is trying to crush them culturally, religiously and politically under the agenda of Hindu nationalists. People understand the monstrous planning of Indian government and today Kashmiri youth is in anger because they are feeling that their identity is in danger.”
